Despite steady growth in India’s organized market, the company witnessed a decline in private market share and competitive ranking, driven by limited presence in innovative products, and rising competitive pressure in existing product categories in a matured marked. To unlock the next phase of growth, the company required a data-backed, future-ready business plan anchored in market realities and internal capabilities.

We supported the company through an end-to-end strategic business planning engagement, combining global market intelligence with granular company-level analysis:
- Conducted global and Indian market assessment, including market size, growth trends, consumption patterns, and fastest-growing product categories
- Conducted cycle study of products as per BCG matrix to identify product maturity cycles and long-term strategy.
- Benchmarked global and domestic leaders on financial performance, product mix, margins, and growth metrics
- SWOTR (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats and Risks) were deliberated & concluded with key stakeholders.
- Performed competitive and financial benchmarking against key Indian & global players across products to understand capex requirements, capital employed and future funding options.
- Analyzed the company’s internal performance across SBU’s as reference for internal benchmarks at operating levels.
- Defined a clear strategic intent (short, medium and long term), growth priorities, and phased domestic expansion roadmap and arrived at stakeholder’s consensus through Intent Workshop.
- Built sales forecasts, financial projections and product- and zone-specific strategies for final submission to the company. The forecasts were based on data submitted by company & our assumptions.
